Information Collection and Use

Vantage neither owns nor ultimately exercises direct control over any end-user information provided by an institution or client using the product. The information provided is used simply and exclusively to ensure that an end-user gains access to and is able to use the program successfully. All end-user information provided to Vantage remains absolutely confidential at all times. Vantage does not use, transmit or disseminate any end-user information for any other purpose then to effectuate and fulfill its responsibilities and obligations to the end-user institution or client. Vantage neither requests, culls or collects any additional information about any end-user that is not directly provided by an institution or client or included within an institution or client's request of Vantage (as part of a program) to analyze resultant end-user data, make comparisons or special arrangements for testing, or generate score reports. E-mail addresses and names (optional) are collected from users requesting technical assistance via https://vantage.formstack.com/forms/express_adaptera_com. This information is only collected to process the technical-support request. At times, Vantage uses or compiles raw non-specific end-user data only for research studies and quality control purposes. If information is compiled or collected for such purposes, end-users are not personally identifiable- their identities are completely anonymous and never subject to release or publication.

The institution or client bears exclusive responsibility for and is deemed to exercise ultimate policy and decision-making authority over any and all aspects or associated undertakings of its use of the product. This encompasses use that is not specifically delegated and assigned in writing to Vantage, including but not limited to: content and presentation; policies, decisions, measurements or judgments made by the institution or others with respect to the ability or suitability of end-user participants in connection with the use of the product; representation of test score results; and reporting, use, management and validity of assessments, minimum passing scores, scoring results, methods, or the like.

The Help Section

In the event that you have a technical issue while on our site and require technical assistance, we will collect personally identifiable information such as your name, e-mail, phone number and location in order to process your service request. This information is not shared with any third parties for their promotional purposes and is solely used to fulfill your request. In compliance with regulations we will, upon written request of the owner of that information delete all information.

Registration

Vantage works in tandem with an institution or client or program ("institution"). Generally, your institution provides very limited details about an end-user-such as the name, end-user identification number, email, and level. This information is used solely for the purpose of loading the end-user's information into Vantage's secure internal database in order to set up a username and password for the use of the product. In addition, an authorized institution or client official may also directly enter a particular end-user's information in order to assign that particular end-user a username and password for authorized use.

Parental Consent

The product may be accessible to end-users under the age of 18 only when such end-users are designated to be authorized users by the institution through a written verifiable Parental (Caregiver) Consent form for each end-user. Each institution using the product must provide Vantage with an official written acknowledgement that the institution has provided and, in turn, received each end-user's Parental Consent form, which verifies that end-user's parental authority to access and use of the product.

Your Rights to Deletion and Changes to End-user Information

You have the right to access a copy of your personal data, the right to make corrections, right to erase data, restrict the processing of your data, object to the processing of your data, request transfer of your personal data, to complain about the processing of your data and withdraw your consent to processing of your data. You may request deletion of end-user information or request that your username and password be deactivated if you no longer desire to use the product.
